My wife wanted a paddle for when she came canoeing. The ones I have are too long for her so I decided to make one. I wood burnt some stuff on there for her. Turn out pretty nice. I didn’t bother to fibreglass the blade as she wont be using that much.

That’s too nice to use. ;-). Very nicely done.

Good thing she won’t use it much. Those beautiful art works might wash away!! Nice work. We’ll trust you that it has a handle; just this one time ;-)

Very cool paddle. Never seen one built like that. It would be nice to see a profile view of the blade. I’m wondering how thick it is. I too would like to see the handle of this beauty. Thanks for sharing this creation.

OOOHH! THAT kind of “paddle for the wife”

When I saw the title, I thought of something ELSE! :-)

I’m a canoer, that’s the kind of paddle I thought of. Very nice looking paddle. Maybe someday I’ll try to make a paddle. Right now I have a bending branches that I’m happy with.

That’s nice clean work. I’m sure she must have been pleased with it.
