I have been living on my property for about ten years now, and I always said that I would cut down the old (dead) cedar in my woods if I ever got (finely) a lathe. Well I cut it down and turned this bowl from the tree. I cut four blanks from a section of the trunk. Kind of lost my design that I had in mind (my vision of), but it’s not too bad.
Dutch oiled finished.

Gary, that is a nice piece of lumber and a great turning. Well done.

Designs when turning change all the time. As long as it turns out to be something. Cool piece.

Pretty bowl! Like the cool design and the look of cedar. Great turning piece!
