Jewellery Box (Art Deco style)

Reclaimed solid mahogany jewellery box with figured sycamore top inlaid in an Art Deco style with solid purpleheart and centuries old bog oak.
There are three layers , the bottom layer is open and is the overall size of the box , the middle layer is a tray the overall size of the box partitioned into various sizes , the top layer comprises of 3 separate trays partitioned to accommodate various sizes of jewellery. all three layers are lined in a lavender coloured suede/like material.

I agree with Roger, “flawlessly executed”. It is also unique and I love the pattern on top. I suspect the picture doesn’t do it justice.

Good grief another favorite from this website, I like the lines of this box, it has a “feel” to it even through the photo, Very well done, the quality is perfect. Crisp, clean, bold, minimalisttic, very cool. I also like the choice of hinge too. You should post more often, great talent.

Gorgeous and unique box! Like the beautiful top and wood combo. It is well crafted inside and out. Excellent job!
