Simple box from scrap wood

Once again the :garbage Pile” of wood that my friend had refered to. This time it was old cedar fencing that he had piled up at the end of his driveway for someone to come and pick up to bring to the dump. I put a stop to that an took it all! With the first bit of it I Quickly make this box for him (his beautiful wife actually) to show his that one mans garbage is another mans treasure.

Just a simple box…

That is some darn nice wood to be considered garbage. What kind of finish did you use? It has a serious gloss whatever it is. Great job!!! Congrats on the garbage pile wood.

It’s beautiful, simple design but the finish really set it off. Great job!
