”WOODEN MUSICAL NOTES” Made from Wenge Blackwood from the Cameroon and Musical notes made from London Plane. Plaque is 10 inch High and 24 inch across. This is a prototype for a much larger project requested by a Recording Studio.
The Notes are made from LONDON PLANE this is a Hybred Tree crossed with Sycamore and are quite common around the streets of London. This is a blonde type lacewood.
I cut the Wenge on my Bandsaw and the notes on my old scrollsaw. Screwed together with 40mm wood screws and a little tightbond 3, and finnished off with Tung Oil and beeswax. There is also a couple of ringed hook brackets on the back to hang it on the wall.
Thanks for checking out my projects :: BazzA.

Very nice wall hanging. If this is a prototype, I’m already looking forward to the final version!

Beautiful! Love the contrasting woods which add even more dimension. Whistle while you work. :)

Very nice contrast with the crispness of the notes and the irregular lines on the background. Great job!
