I know I’m not the first to post one of these; in fact, this work piece was inspired from several projects posted by fellow lumberjocks.

As you can tell from the image, this is not too complex. One thing I did a little differently than what I’ve seen is the addition of rubber-grip shelf liners. This helps keep the jig flush with the 3/4” plywood boards and also provides better stability for drilling.

I finished the piece with poly and drilled holes in each corner so I can hang it on the wall in my shop when not in use.

I really like your design. I just wish Kreg did charge a Benjamin for a hunk of plastic!

Milo – I know what you mean! I resisted buying many of their jigs until one of the big, blue box home improvement stores had the Master Kit or whatever on a huge sale. I want to say it was like 140 but it came with all the pocket hole jigs, a clamp, and a few hundred screws. I’m actually a huge fan of their nails with the square/phillips combo.
