This is a “basket” shelf I built for my wife for use in our bathroom. I wasn’t sure what to call it but it needed to hold four baskets my wife bought and have storage with doors in the bottom. You can see one of the baskets in the pictures. Also, it was my first attempt to make raised panel doors.

I used ash for the face frame and doors and oak ply for the carcass. It will be painted with milk paint and distressed so I didn’t worry about using my best wood. As a matter of fact, the ash is from panel boards I bought as cull items from Lowe’s because they were damaged on the edge.

Sorry the pictures aren’t all that great. I took them with my cell phone. :)

It seems to me well done, compliments.
