The box is hard maple and purple heart. The box is for my cousin Keira and I enjoyed making it. The inside is lined with red felt. The middle splines hold up the tray, and the tray is also lined with felt.

This is a real clean box. Congratulations.

Great looking box! I’m sure your cousin will love it!

A question though: how did you get that middle spline to be so long, without cutting into the interior of the box?

It does go inside of the box thats what holds up the tray. In the first picture you can see it in the interior of the box.

Beautiful box! It’s well crafted and looks good inside and out. Like the look of the splines. Great work!
