I finally finished the living room reno ( with no blood spilled I might add). Karen added her part with the drapes furniture and paint job.The book shelves, mantle and wall cap are Maple. Every thing else is Cherry. There a 2 wall sconses in the stair way, the Mrs. will decorate those. All the table tops are solid and were hand planed smooth. I think that was the best part…Taking a lumpy glue up and making a smooth table top. Quite a learning experience. I have been following dining chair builds done by Grampa Doodie and Pintodeluxe and have sent away for the plans from FWW. That’s the next project. Thanks fer lookin’ Mark

I really like how you made the footstools belong there by adding the curve. They tuck away so neatly, and look just right. I imagine they are useful as footstools, or for extra casual seating at gatherings.
Did you plan this in advance, or a happy accident?

Thank you gents. Pintodeluxe…I’m happy to say it was planned that way. :) I may be pickin’ your brain fairly soon re: your kitchen chair build ,if ya don’t mind.

Very nicely done, and the curve is a great match for their spot under the table.
