I love cooking but my space in the kitchen is small. So I decided to build a butcher block table using scrap wood that I had lying around. For the table top, I used 1 1/2 by 2’s which i laminated together. For the legs, I had this 4×4 old wood that I trimmed down to 3×3. Although almost done (still had to varnish) I figured to post it. For mobility, I added casters to each leg so when not in use I can stow it away as shown. For a final touch up, I am planning on building a knife holder in the side….

Hello I found this short primer on the care of wooden food prep surfaces. Your table looks very well made.
