Saw some bundles of wood on alley and picked them up for future use and this is what I ended up with. I finished them with some left over paint and promptly sanded for a rustic/vintage look. I enjoy working with recycled wood as I get to build and improve my skill without encurring great expense. The problem is that now I need to get rid of some of the pieces I built such as these since garage is getting full. I once read that the problem is not building them but selling them so I’ll try first Craiglist first and if not I’ll park near a busy intersection on outskirts of city. Thanks for looking.

I post my projects on Facebook. My daughters and wife share them with their friends, and they share them with their friends…and so on.

I could stay busy full time if I wanted to.

I have sold several toy boxes, teacher’s podiums, and more than a dozen coolers.

Give it a try if you have that option (Facebook).
Note: I haven’t advertised them for sale – just post them and the question start rolling in. (how much, can you make me one, etc.)

I really don’t feel comfortable advertising on CL. I don’t want strangers poking around my garage. Ay least FB folks are friends of me or my kids/wife.

Good luck.

great job – i love reclaimed wood projects as well
I agree with Mike – on top of safety concerns CL and Kijiji attract people looking to get a bargain

I’m getting to a similar stage with my reclaimed projects as i’m almost done filling the rooms so i’m thinking
of approaching a chic antique, art and craft place here in town and may put some in on consignment
this way they can use to sell their goods and it will hopefully show off and sell the wood furniture too

Pretty tables! You gave new life to reclaimed wood. Like the vintage and distressed look of it. Great job!

Have your say...
