Nice cutting board. I like the 3 dimensional affect after staring at it for a while.

The only finish I use on the cutting boards is mineral oil.

Very nice job. It does cause a little vertigo. I probably would have had a finger laying next to that knife.
Thanks for the post and welcome to Lumber Jocks. Enjoy yourself.

Great job. Fascinating and stunning. Stuff like that sends my mind into a dither. Where would a guy look to find directions for building a cutting board like that. I could stare at that forever and not figure out how to build it.

Cool cutting board. Is it made from maple walnut and birch?

Mart,
I will write directions and post them or send you an e-mail. It is very simple to do.

I am not sure I would like cutting on it. While it is fun to look at, it messes with my eyes :) I could see (get it?) cutting off a finger tip while I starring at the pattern.
It looks like it was hard to line up all the pattern parts. Any suggestions on what someone might try when putting it together? If you do write directions post them so we can all see the process.

It looks hard to keep the points aligned. I’d say that you really have to keep track of your cuts. The pattern is really mesmerizing.
