Made from odd bits of scrap walnut and dowel. The discs are around an inch or so in diameter, 2 are finished with mineral oil and 2 with BLO. Tricky working on stuff this small even with midi size tools but it’s good practice. 3 of 4 spin nicely. The 4th (frontmost in top pic) broke off the lathe. I remounted and tried to save it but it just wobbles and falls over (not a Weeble).

They look like a lot of fun to make. Good job.

Cool Rick. Are they more fun making or to play with? Probably both.

Don’t let scraps go to waste, good job and a good start on stocking stuffers!

I bet there easier to make on a lathe than a dell press and circle cutter!

Thanks. It’s interesting how they spin. The first one I made, 2nd from front, left side, first pic, spins the truest but only spins about half as long as the others. 2 others wobble a bit but spin a long time. The 4th, the one that broke off the lathe, doesn’t spin at all right side up but turn it upside down and it spins just fine.
