I made this dollhouse for my oldest girl’s third birthday. She just loves it! And her little sister just loves to eat it, as of now.

Used these plans as a guide:

Thought 42” inches across the bottom was too big for our spaces in the house, so I divided every side by 24/42. With the balcony it is actually longer than 2 feet, but not by much. The floor are around 8-9” tall, so somewhere between 1:12 and 1:24 on the dollhouse scale I believe.

The wood is just 1/4” mdf. I didn’t have time to make the furniture or shutters. The furniture all came from a pack I found on Amazon. I am making her some Christmas items like a tree for the house, and other holidays as well eventually.

The spiral staircase is a 1×2 piece of poplar cut into stairs with a 1/4” dowel going down the middle. I realized after the fact there wouldn’t be enough room for normal stairs over there, so the spiral staircase is working nicely.

Now that’s a 10 out of 10 dolls house and one can see why the little one loves it…
The design is tops, love the stairs and the decorations just top it all off….Well done..
