I originally started this project thread as a game of what is it. That game is over, and the original thread follows. The game is 20 questions. I have seen many “what is it” threads that turn into “who cares what it is” threads because the OP didn’t return to answer questions. This will not be the case here. You all have 20 total questions that I will answer Yes or No with the name of the person asking the question. That’s 20 total, not 20 each. If no one figures it out in 20, I’ll remove any suspense (either real or percieved) and tell you what it is.

A starting clue—- after more than 30 years in construction, I wake up with a very sore back. More like a cripple than a carpenter. It takes a while before I can bend over, and the microwaveable heating pad is the first thing I seek. I still have to get ready for work, however, and this thing helps me tremendously.

Anyone want to waste some time on it?

Too nice for a pooper-scooper….....

Okay, I’ll play along.

Is it to put on clothing or shoes?

Nicely built, whatever it is!

Cheers!

Does it have anything to do with the microwaveable heating pad?

Well, this is going over like a lead balloon! I’ll give it a little longer, but there’s nothing in the rules saying you only get one question. With 105 views, I think everyone has had a chance, they just didn’t want to play. So, go ahead and hit it with multiple questions if you like. I’ll limit this to 2:30 PM EST, then explain.

Is it used in the bathrrom?

Is it used in the kitchen?

Some of us are confused. The hint is that the heating pad is the first thing you seek, and this device helps you get ready, but it has nothing to do with the heating pad.

Is the long piece in the middle a handle?

Does it help you reach something?

Is it used as soon as you wake up?

the problem with multiple questions, is we typically need to know the answer to our first before we ask another :)

Is it for picking something up off the floor?

JJohnston, the heating pad is the first thing he does in the morning, but I believe this helps after the heating pad has been applied (before he can bend over)
