Belt Sander Conversion

I have been wanting to do this forever. I turned an old belt sander into a table mounted sanding platform with dust collection. It is much easier to take small parts to the sander than it is to take the sander to small parts. Here is a fun video covering the build:

Nice one Jay! As you say, really a dedicated Sander for this would be ideal, maybe when I come across a cheap one!!

Great execution of a simple design. I would be adopting this model for my shop. In face i was on the hunt for a good but simple design. Your video was very crisp and precise explaining. Thanks for sharing.
