Looks like a great project there,
why only two pictures?In particular the inlay and other sides would be nice.

I just had to take a second look as I thought it look like our Australian Silky Oak.
I found after doing some research Lacewood and Silky oak share the same botanical name so I guess that’s the answer!

Looks great , but I wonder why everybody keeps saying “another simple box” they are not that simple when they are done like this.
