This was my first vanity but it wasn’t much different from building furniture but you do have a back splash and a hole in top.

I got lucky and fone a 4’x3’x¾” plywood with black melamine on both side’s so I used it for the top and the back splash and trim it out in oak and the vanity itself is oak as well. I used pocket hole joinery to build the vanity and stain it in early american and to top it off with high glossy polyurethane and a 19” a american standard drop in sink .

David, The turning is alot of fun, Made a bunch of pens and stuff but the wife wants a new kitchen table a round 60’’ one with a pedastool so the turning has to take a back seat for awhile.
