This is one of my first major projects. It’s a relatively simple design, but I was looking to make something that would go with all of the AC era furniture I have. I finished it with Old Masters Dark Walnut, and Old Masters Brushing Lacquer.

Simple and elegant. How is the legs attached to the sides?

The bed sits on two of the stretchers and the legs are attached to those with a simple mortise tenon joint.

Looks great and well crafted. Like the style and the joinery as well as the finish. Great job!
