small salvaged table

I had an old soda crate and thought it would make a nice table. It’s always fun to make repurposed projects you never know what you will end up with. I used tapered legs and joined them to a frame with pocket holes which the box fits right over. Wanting to put on a bottom shelf I use a top of a wine box. I liked the fact that it was engraving with a leaf and year.

Very resourceful and a neat little project.

Wow, slick. That sode crate looks great like that. I’m pretty sure one of the furniture boutiques like Pottery Barn is going to copy this, better get a patient.

That’s awesome, great use of “stuff” to create something very nice. echo Oldtools advice, PotteryBarn or Sundance or sumsuch will swipe that idea in a heartbeat.

Looks like something you’d see in a commercial setting like a restaurant or higher end retail; meant as a complement.

Thanks for the feedback!!! Its funny that I picked up the soda create at Brimfield a big antique fair which has all these guys from Pottery Barn buying things to make prototypes salvage repurposed item’s to see how they sell in there catalog.

Cool idea, like the design and use of old pieces. The legs are beautiful and go well with the crate. Great job!
