The is one part of a multi-part bedroom remodel that we did for my son. He was starting to outgrow his old room redesign and he was starting to need a more organized space to live and play in.

This part of his room was two log bookcases. The bookcases are simply logs that have been cut to length, leveled out and topped with shelves made from 2×10 boards. One bookcase is 6 feet wide and the other is about 8 feet in length. Each was roughed up with the angle grinder to look worn & distressed. They were then stained dark brown and given several coats of polyurethane.

Pretty cool…. Like the live edges and should last and be solid in a boys room….

Beautiful and well crafted bookcases! Like the use of the logs and the stain looks great. It compliments the lovely mirror as well.
