I made this end grain cutting board for a door prize for my 35th high school class reunion. The six types of hardwood used are: Black Walnut, European Beach, Purple Heart, Red Cumaru, Sapele, and White Oak. I was
under the gun to finish it on time. It happened with a few hours to spare. I used my newly fabricated V-Drum
sander. Wow, it really works well on end grain. I still have to fabricate a guard for the drive belt. I will post some pics when it is finished. The reunion was very fun. The board turned out well, and the winner was very appreciative. I want to thank everyone who has shared their creations on this site. It has been very helpful, and
enjoyable for me.
