Project Information

Just updating a few of Bob's carvings as he's never going too show them off. Here's an assortment of bears … He's done dozens / hundreds of bears over the years. I'll try to post a few examples.

Bob Eigenrauch is our chainsaw carver - an individual who tends to be a bit reclusive so he doesn't generally post online or show off his work. I on the other hand do not have such a modest nature so despite his periodic protest I'm going to hawk his talent and skills whenever I have a chance!

Bob has over 20 years experience as a chainsaw carver, and a lifetime before that in the forestry industry. As he reached the end of his tree climbing career he realized that retirement could open the opportunity to put a chainsaw to a more creative use than logging, so he signed on with my father (Stan Saperstein) to learn the basics of carving. It wasn't long before his skill was shining through and he took on more and more unique and complex projects.

Bob handles our commissions for chainsaw carvings for outdoor pieces and does our rough in work for large scale indoor sculptures.

Nice work. That first one would make a good base for a glass top table.

I like all of them, especially like that Bob is not afraid to show character in his work. He is creative and as you say talented.
