Hot air Balloon from Redheart and Maple.

This is the start of my Christmas ornament collection for this year.
Al of my kids and grand kids get an ornament for Christmas every year. This one is for the wife.

Although it is kinda big for our tree. haha

3 inch diam. and 5 1/4 inch tall. with basket 7 inch. Turned to 1/8 wall.

Finished with wipe on poly.

Please leave all comments and suggestions.

You always amaze me with your creative projects. I know you told me practice, practice, practice and I never so far have gotten anything done that I’m proud of. But I’ll keep trying. Another fantastice job and very creative

Very cool turning project…I agree a little big for a Christmas tree…but a slightly larger version of it would look great as an ornament or centre piece displayed on a hallway table or on a large coffee table…
excellent job Scrappy.
