Rusted vessel

This is a small vessel that has been hollowed. It is sycamore wood that was turned wet. The top is rusted paint that has a patina applied. The base is copper paint with a patina added. The piece is only 5 inches tall. Inspiration comes from a demo with Mark Gardner. the last photo gives you the size of the piece. I have written a blog showing a step by step of this small piece. It came out really beautiful. Like the shape and the colors. Cool use of the patina and paint. Incredible work!
