This is a bulletin board ordered for the kitchen. The wood is an Oak pallet I planed down. I attached chicken wire to back so we can use small clothes pins to attach family pictures. I did a round over on the outside and cove on the inside of the frame to give it some accents. Also I joined the miters with splines. This was my first attempt with splines and I think it gives it a lot more strength and they are not as difficult as I thought they would be.

Neat frame. It is amazing how pretty the wood is on those pallets that get hauled around every where. Nice reclamation of the wood!!

cheers, Jim
