Had an order to make matching coffee tables. 4 consecutive slabs of poplar. The bases are maple. 66” long x 36” wide x 20” tall. Poured epoxy coating. They are very heavy.

I use a portable planer and Sanding. Since I have not built my router planer or a large sander. They are on my to do list.

I wouldn’t have guessed poplar. I really like the live edge on the stringers. And they were pre-sold!

Great looking. Looks like they have some good thickness to them. I agree the stringers are very fitting.
