Using Paduk (I think?) and Maple from rough cut lumber I fashioned this cabinet for my cousin in Sicily. We will be visiting next year and I wanted to bring something special.

I did not use plans of any kind of just went with my gut. It was fun to make and I found some challenges and things I would do differently.

All in All I like it, although I still despise hinges.

Well… trust your gut! Your Jewelry cabinet è bellissimo! The design of one cabinet with four drawers and three sections in the drawer will provide a lots of space for Italian jewels! A great gift for a great trip. Fun.

Lovely jewelry box! Great wood combo and design, like the drawers and the handles. I’m sure your cousin will love it. Great job!
