A couple other shapes of the checkered boxes. My first round one was just a tryout but turned out so well I made a few more with the pieces I had glued up already.

Looks great. Did you use a bowl bit on a router to hollow out the center sections? I really like this and added to my favorites. Thanks for posting.

I do all of my boxes on the scroll saw. It’s the most used tool in my shop. Three layers are cut on the saw, then the bottom glued on and then the outside is cut.
