So.. this is the first and only large item I’ve tried to make. Learned a lot.. especially what not to use for case construction. The Out laws wanted it “cheap”.. oh well.

Top is end grain maple.. I do have some concerns related to its holding up over the years due to the thickness. Time will tell. The middle drawer on the bottom conceals a pullout garbage can. Forget to get another pic after the door and drawer hardware was installed unfortunately.

My wood working is so far limited to a few cutting boards, so really, the hobby begins from here.

Also, replaced their under the counter pull out cutting board. I found out their original was plywood. Yes. That looked amazing after years of cutting on…...

The top is very nice and the corner trim sets off the white really well, I am sure they will love it!
