I made this sideboard for a friend of mine. We came up with the design from other pieces in the house, which is mostly Shaker style. It has a ton of storage, with it’s 4 drawers and top and bottom shelf. The top and shelves are Eastern White Pine with bread board ends and after about 7 or 8 stain colors, Red Mahogany ended up being a perfect match to the dining Table. The legs, frame and doors are made from Poplar and painted old fashion milk paint black. The drawers are made out of maple and the painted drawer front really makes the half blind dovetails pop.

That’s a nice sideboard, like the stained top and painted base.
