I finally finished the wine rack. This is the first piece of furniture that I have built since taking woodshop in high school (1978 – sophomore). The rack is made of oak and oak plywood. The design is from Wood Magazine.

Very nice. What kinds of joinery did you use? Maybe if I tell the wife that it took someone 35 years to build a wine cabinet, she might cut me a little slack on our table:-)

Kristoffer,

I used glue and pocket hole joinery. The plans call for biscuit joinery, but I am not good with those yet and I had just purchased the Kreg K4 system.
