I made this bench for a friend at work. It is made mostly of laminated pine panels, the beaded panels are 1/4” MDF and the bench top is 3/4” red oak.
Making the oak top was the first time I have tried to glue up a large panel, it is made out of four pieces of 1”x 5” oak cut from two 8’ lengths then biscuit jointed and glued together.

Thanks for looking

I’ve been wanting to build something similar for our front hall.

Great looking piece! Like the clean lines and the beaded panels, a perfect match to your hallway. Great job!
