I can inscribe something on the back to personalize it for no extra charge if it is something simple. I love how the tail sort of wiggles on this piece. And the carved out hearts have a little fluidness. I carved it out of Quilted Big Leaf Maple. This is the rarest of the Maple grains. Quilted Maple is seen usually only in the finest of electric guitars. This grain is mesmerizing to be sure. I really love it! I am so blessed to have this sort of wood to work with!

As I made this piece, I thought of so many ways to symbolize what this piece means to me. It’s like the impression of two spirits nestled in the heart of The one. The way two souls can touch and share but each still being unique spirits unto themselves. I had thought about doing something like this for some time. I love how it all works. Those moments of inspiration, guiding the process. The more I give into it and set myself free of constraints, the more amazing it all seems!

I have dyed it Oxblood Red to enhance the grain pattern. It has great contrast on a white or light colored wall. This is a stunning piece! There is Quilted grain throughout the piece with some circular grain from a branch in the upper right lobe. I love how this one turned out.

It measures 25 1/2” tall x 11 5/8” wide x 1 1/4” thick. This piece is very dimensional

It is flat on the back so it hangs on the wall. I have carved a notch on the back for hanging and it is signed Wiz on the back.

real nice! great looking piece. You don’t get a sense of the size from the picture, it almost looks like a piece of jewellery. But given its real size I can imagine that it really stands about and looks great.
