I met the organizer for a TEDx event through couchsurfing and he liked my work in my house so he asked me to make a sign for his event. I was then asked to make another for a different event. For one of the events I made 375 keychains that I dyed and branded with the TEDx logo. I had to make the brand by carving steel with a cutoff wheel on a dremel, that was a pain in the rear. I got to go to the events too so it was all worth it. It was a lot of fun. These were my first goes at making set type of work where they do not have to be as perfect as I am used to making. It was hard to remember that people are going to be sitting far away and not inspecting it. It was a tight time frame and I luckily had two buddies that were willing to help.
