This is the latest project delivered to a client. 7’ long 1 1/2” thick bookmatched walnut crotch headboard mounted directly to wall with french cleat. Butterflies are cherry and walnut. multiple coats of wiiping varnish . Platform is 1 1/8” walnut frame with maple ply panels. Thanks for looking.

I like all the curves, plus the different woods, and the sides to hold the springs/mattress.

the headboard speaks for itself, that just great.
however, I absolutly love the look of the platform. Like scottb mentions, it’s a shame it’s going to be covered by bedding.
