Pine box with a neat lid

This was just me tinkering around in the shop skill building. The lid is pine, red oak and mahogany. This has a simple Danish Oil finish on it.

Thanks deon. This was probably the first box that I made that I actually liked. I meant to make another box in this style, bigger and from nicer woods of course.

great way to learn. I’m doing the same thing with 100 yr. old window casing.
