I present the Marna-mouth, the last fixed knife straight out of the workshop.

The blade is steel XC75, full quenching and guilloche way “Mama.”
The handle is a combination of Walnut, Oak, Cherry and Padauk.
Rivets (copper and brass) are homemade.
It measures 20.5 cm by 9.5 cm sharp.
Weight of the beast: 111 grams

Side finishing the blade is mirror polished, the handle has been sanded to 500 grit then passed fondur and finally oiled.

Why Mama-mouth? Because its overall shape reminded me of the mammoth … (Pis also because it sounded good …)

Marna-mouth is to be found on my blog.

That’s a very nice looking knife. I really like the tang engraving.

Awesome knife! Like the attractive handle and beautiful blade. The engraving added a nice touch and the finish is amazing.
