This project started out as a shallow maple bowl. Seeing all of the trees changing color this fall gave me the idea to cut it down it a shape of a maple leaf. This was my first attempt at air brushing dye.

Very nice John. From standard shallow bowl to one-of-a-kind piece of work. Your a natural at the airbrush as well.

Nice job, did you put a clear coat over it?

Thanks for all of the positive comments.

Vince – I used shellac as a thinner for the dye. I did not add a clear coat. The picture was taken shortly after I sprayed it.
