I made this box out of Red Cedar. I used a round over bit to round all the outside corners of the box and the lid.
I decided to put feet on the corners rather than a molding all the way around. I used self mortising hinges and finished with 5 coats of Minwax satin pol

glad to see you are back at it. sure is some nice cedar.rounding over the edges really softens the look of the box.good work ,see you later.

Hello Gary,
A very nicely constructed and finished box.
I liked your cutting board project of walnut I saw a few days ago with the band work in it.

No doubt a pleasant change from bashing metal into finished products.

Very nice box…..I think I’d have went with the molding all the way around,,,,,or at least angled the 90 degree ends of the feet…. Just my thought….. Bob
