my best friend, who is an avid motorcycle rider, asked me to make him a bumper for the trailer he made. I never made a bumper before but there is always a first. Since then I have made another….
The core of this 3.5×3.5 inch bumper is oak and the faces are MDO.

Nice work. Is it waterproof?

@ MT… the mdo is water resistant. My friend primed and painted the bumper with exterior grade oil base paint. I’m sure it will be just fine.

Looks nice. They make billboards out of MDO so it should be just fine when wet. Cool project for a friend.
Well done.
