Puttered around in the shop on Saturday and finally got around to building a larger auxiliary table for my Delta band saw. Modeled after similar designs I have seen here and on other sites to use a miter gauge for the fence. Ran a little short on aluminum miter channel but should only affect the aesthetics and not performance. I’ve got a couple toggle clamps on order to help secure to the cast iron table and make sure it can’t tip under load. I think I’ll appreciate the added surface real estate to help balance large parts more than I will the fence.

Great looking table, more support and ability to add jigs and/or hold downs is a wonderful thing
