I don’t know why this hasn’t received more attention, this is one of the the best looking pieces to pop up on this site in a while. While I can tell you leaned heavily on your inspiration piece, the wood legs and simplified top make this an excellent evolution of the piece.

While not the same, it reminds me of the pieces put out by Semigood: http://www.semigoods.com/servlet/Detail?no=76 but that’s probably just the Danish influence from the original.
