This box on box action came from having several chunks of 5/8inch thick black walnut (yes more walnut wood) in the scrap box that were all slightly tweaked or warped. Liberal amounts of glue and some good clamps made me two chunks to work with so I started attacking them with the band saw and an 1/8 in blade. I got a little to aggressive and snapped the blade trying to make too tight a turn through very thick material and the blade had no sense of humor. :) I finished the project with our 1/4 inch blade which greatly changed the design and shape of the stacked box. So… take chunks… make bigger chunks.. cut them apart… and glue them back together… .SURE!... makes soooo much sense… Hey it killed an otherwise dull Sunday afternoon so I’m happy.

Not your everyday band saw box Snoman! Great way to use up cut offs. I like the full front face! Thanks for sharing!
