I’m cleaning out the computer, wanted to delete this pic but thought I’d post it first as proof I finished something. For you budding photographers out there, this hi-def background is a layer of bubble-wrap sitting on top of an ice-chest.

The pair of cutting boards in maple/cherry/walnut – I didn’t feel any real thrill in doing these but they did get rid of some scraps. I made one bit fat one 2.75” thick and ripped it in half on the bandsaw to make two, pawned them off on my mom during my last visit. One person only needs or has room for so many cutting boards so I probably won’t do any of these again. The performax sander, taking a very light cut, made quick work of smoothing the end-grain.

The pens are just slimlines, one Bubinga and one Padauk. I like slimlines, they’re unpretentious and they fit the hand nicely. I also lose them easily so I’m sure I’ll have to make some more eventually but at least they’re easy.

Great use of scraps. They all look good. Like the wood combo in the boards and the slimlines.
