A few weeks ago I made an order. The same consisted of two gifts for 15 years birthdays.
Thus prompted something I had in mind for some time and could try to do. Frames that could well become pictures, or also bring them some mirrors. I left a free hand to decide and I only stated the names that should go in the same drafts.
So using cedar wood, and half joints. Work around an inch in thickness and overall dimensions inside are: 30 cm x 40 cm.
As a bonus add a figure of a ada, that I found appropriate for this occasion, it is stuck on the mirror directly.
The termination was with tung oil, and then with water based varnish.
I liked the end result and hope it is a well appreciated gift.
Greetings to all.
Gerardo

Nice looking frames ! Did you cut out the names free-hand (ie no guide) ? If so, that is impressive !
