Quick and easy stand for my bandsaw

I picked up a Craftsman 10” band saw for a good price but it was too heavy to be moved around easily. I went into sketchup and designed a quick and easy stand out of 4 2×4’s. It is 26 3/4” tall, 15”wide, 21”long on top, and 29” long at the bottom. I made it using my miter saw, kreg jig, and a drill. I am using it for my bandsaw but you could just as easily use it for any other bench top tool.

You can watch a video of me building it here:

You can download a free sketchup plan of it on my website here:

Band saw? You could rest a big block on that. I like it.

Nice little portable table. I like the video too. Well done on both :)

I like the idea of putting a big block on it :)

I like this. Much simpler to build than my usual tool stands, but looks just as sturdy. I’m going to make one to try it out.

Great idea! I just picked up the same saw, so I may use this. Thanks!

Seeing your post, got me to make a stand similar to yours, one for my band saw, and another for my drill press. Mine are not as well built but sturdy enough, and more importantly are now out the way, but close to hand! Tks for the inspiration.
