Little box of scrap oak and cherry. Simple rabbet and glue joints. Salt and vinegar aged brass hinges. Light stain with oil finish.

Christian, nice straight forward project. You might consider splines on your next box. Keep boxing and keep posting.

Cool box! Very nicely done. I usually make boxes when I have nice scraps, especially when I get done with a time consuming project.

I have been told there is no such thing as a Simple Box , because they can be some of the most difficult things to make right.

It looks good and well crafted. Like the simple design and the finish brings out the beauty of the woods used.
