This is a project I finished over a month ago for my BILs birthday. Some of you may recall the condiment holder I made for him and my sister for Christmas. This is the newest matching piece.
I was able to apply an iron on of a full board of Space Invaders around just about the entire handle. The wood is Maple.

Thanks for looking.

That’s pretty cool Chris. Will make another nice gift. How do do iron the print?

Thanks Dave. They love vintage video games especially Space Invaders. You can print out anything you like with a Laser Printer then use an iron to transfer it to wood. I do it for a lot of different stuff. The cool thing is you can also do stuff in color such as this Card Holder-

I have to admit doing it on round stuff is a bit of a challenge. Let me know if you would like more info on it.

Chris, thanks. I’m going to try this on a project. This is something that I have been looking for. I will sure ask for more info if things don’t work out. Looks simple.

Cool bottle opener! Those pretty iron print outs are nice touches and looks good on maple.

Hi Chris, just looking over some of your later projects. Just purchased a few of the bottle openers and made a hard maple one today. Nothing fancy like your graphics, but a fun project. I tried some Teak first, but it split and then I noted that the blank was not large enough at 1” sq. So, cut the maple at 1.25 and all went well.

cheers, johnl
