Sometimes quality isn’t in the result but in the time spend with grand kids and honoring their desires. My 5 yr old grand daughters wanted a doll house to play with the collection of barbie and shortcake dolls we kept from when their mothers were much younger. I made a four level bookcase with temporary walls that can be removed when later when we want to repurpose this item. After completion I first built the table and chairs. One grand daughter wanted to paint it pink. To divert her she and I made the double bed and she painted it her choice of colors. Next came the bunk beds with marker coloring on the ladder. The living room painting was mostly hers (I did the TV and stand – bet you easily can guess that). The latest addition was the frig, sink and stove. On the frig and stove the order from grand kid was for staniless steel look.

Quality is determined by your customer. It seems your customers are very happy. Therefore it was a great project. I would gleefully take a day with the grandchildren.

Beautiful miniatures and great projects to spend quality time with the grand kids. They are very lucky to have those toys made specially by Gramps.

Thanks for the complements. They have now requested a wardrobe and hope chest for the doll house.
